The boil advisory in South Zanesville continues….a water main break that occurred Thursday morning has affected around one thousand residents and businesses in the village. Immediate action was taken by village officials to resolve the problem. However there’s more than just the “clean up” that comes with a dilemma such as this one and safety always comes first. Water samples had to be taken to Columbus to be cultured and that process will take up to 24 hours to complete. Officials should know by 5:00 on Monday if water is safe or not. Until further notice the boil advisory is still in effect for all of the residents affected.
