More money could be coming to your area, today at the Pritchard Laughlin Civic Center in Cambridge, The Better Worker's Compensation group, which is part of the Ohio Bureau Of Workers Compensation, was on hand to help public employers save money, so it can be used within the commuity. Workers compensation costs in Ohio for people who are not employed by the state have been very low over the last 5-years. However, city and county compensation costs have gone up, and the BWC is trying to help them add a bonus to their budget. Previous employees who have taken advantage of this program reduced their lost time claims by 19-percent.
