Having fun to help kids is the goal of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Zanesville . The community organization held their kick-off breakfast at the Welcome Center this morning to get an important message out to local companies. The message is to get the community to work together in raising area children, and raising money to do that. This project is a little different this year, Big Brothers Big Sisters is encouraging companies in the community to challenge their employees to go out and raise money for the children in the area. They are asking company employees to form teams and raise $500 for the agency. Last year $30,000 was raised by the community, and this year the organization is striving for $50,000. The “Bowl For Kids Sake” Company Bowl will be held March 24th at Maysville All-Star Lanes, to celebrate efforts made by the companies around the area. To get involved contact the Big Brothers Big Sisters Agency of Zanesville at 453-7300.
