Woman Abducted From Local Dairy Mart

It has been one hectic week for the Zanesville Police Department as they deal with yet another case of criminal intent. Around 6:30AM this morning, a 23-year old Zanesville woman was abducted fron the parking lot of a Dairy Mart locate don Pine Street. The woman and her assailant then headed south bound on Pine Street. Once she spotted a nearby Starfire gas station she was able to drive off the road and make her escape. At that time, the suspect also got out of the vehicle. The suspect is described as a white male between the ages of 18 and 22. He is around 5 feet 7 inches tall, with a thin build and dirty blond hair. Police also believe that he may have been driving a Conn's potato chip van bearing the license plate number PCB7708, which was stolen from their lot within an hour of the incident. The Zanesville Police Department is asking anyone who witnessed the abduction to call their tips hotline at 455-0712.
