Governor's Cabinet Directors In Town For Roundtable Discussion

Locally elected officials and community leaders voiced their opinions in regards to Governor Taft’s State of the State Address. The Governor’s cabinet members were in town today at MATC to host a roundtable discussion were issues and concerns were brought forth. Paolo DeMaria, Chief Policy Advisor to Governor Taft, Tom Johnson Director the the Ohio Office of Budget and Management, and Joy Padgett, Director of the Governor’s Office Of Appalachia were present. Concerns were raised about where the state money will be going concerning technology in the region. The Cabinet directors took a tour of the New Bakery Company on East Pointe Industrial Park before the Roundtable discussion, and traveled to Marietta for another community forum. Other cabinet directors hosted similar meetings in other cities across the state today.
