Despite chilly temperatures, divers jumped into the water at the Y-Bridge’s canal lift span to continue the effort to restore the bridge. Divers were installing a dam that will allow workers to replace the structure. The project which is estimated to last for 90-days, is off to a great start. If all goes well, the bridge is scheduled to reopen the first week of May.
