A Muskingum College student charged in connection with the death of her newborn baby was indicted Wednesday by a Muskingum County Grand Jury. Prosecutor Mike Haddox says 21-year-old Jennifer Bryant was indicted on one count of involuntary manslaughter, one count of child endangering and one count of abuse of a corpse. Bryant was arrested February 4th after her newborn son's body was found in a trash bin behind the house she shared with 5 other students near Muskingum College. The preliminary coroner’s report state the baby died of asphyxiation. Bryant will next appear in court Wednesday, February 20th for her arraignment.
