His book is out in stores across the country, in England even Japan. A retired Zanesville and Newark police sergeant, Bill Queen, has definitely found his niche. His book “Escarpment” is a western with a twist and is the first part of a trilogy. Queen began writing fifteen years ago after he retired from the Newark Police Department. His interest was sparked by his love of reading and he actually went back to school to become a better writer. He took courses at Denison University and Ohio State University as well. Mr. Queen will be at Walden Books at the Colony Square Mall this Saturday from 4 until 9, signing copies of his novel. Within the next few weeks he will be at Walden Books in the Indian Mound Mall in Heath, Meijer’s in Newark and other bookstores in the area. By calling 1-888-54-BOOK, the first two callers will win a free autographed copy of the novel. The book is also available on any book outlet internet site.
