At the end of February an organization active in Muskingum County for 69 years will fade into history. The Muskingum County Fishermen’s Association is closing its doors. In recent years, one of the club’s most successful programs was an annual fishing derby for boy scouts and cub scouts. The reason they are closing is because membership has dwindled, leaving them with no choice other than to close their doors. Terry and Lillie Paisley, who started as caretakers 20 years ago, purchased the club. All the money from the sale of the property has been given to various charities around the area.
