Only a couple of months ago an area man plagued with emphysema and other lung problems was given only six months to live, Jack Norton and his family have since been patiently awaiting a lung transplant that could save his life. However just when hope was almost lost, their prayers were answered and they received a call from Cleveland University Hospital informing them that a lung was available for Jack. The surgery took only two hours and shortly afterward he was taken off the respirator. Doctors at the hospital were amazed at his recovery and are sending him home in fourteen days if all continues to go well. The Norton and Moody families would like to thank everyone for their thoughts, prayers, and many cards they have sent in support throughout the past few months.
