Have you always wanted to be a star or perform on stage? Now is your chance at this year’s Zaney Follies, put on by Genesis Hospice. Each year a show is put on at Secrest Auditorium that involves local talent. The unique thing about these productions is the cast and crew only have three weeks to get the show ready. This year’s production is “Z-entertainment Awards.” The play was written for Zanesville by the director of this year’s production, Carl Schmehl. Schmehl works in New York and has put on many Broadway plays, one of them being Camelot. The Zaney Follies is March 15th and 16th. Tickets go on sale February 25th. For more information you can call 454-5599. They are looking for local people who can sing and dance to be in the production. Tryouts are Friday night at the Good Samaritan Gymnasium between 6 and 9:30pm.
