The Zanesville job market begins to warm up for the spring. That’s based on the latest poll from Manpower Incorporated. The business workforce survey forecasts modest job growth. Seven percent of companies that responded to the second quarter employment outlook survey said they will recruit more workers during April, May, and June. Three percent expect to cut back and a big majority say that no changes are anticipated. New job opportunities are foreseen this spring in mining and durable goods manufacturing. But service firms plan personnel cutbacks. The survey is based on telephone interviews.
