One local agency is turning a historic building, in the downtown area, into livable space for Zanesville's mature population. Through tax credits issued by the state, The Muskingum County Community Action Agency is renovating a building on the corner of North Third Street. The renovations on the building, which will have 20 units of 3 to 4 bedroom apartments and primarily open to residents 55 and older, are moving right along. Applications for those interested in calling the "Zanesville Historic" home, can call the agency at 453-5703. The apartment complex is scheduled to open in January of next year.
