The Zanesville Fire Department now has a new life saving device thanks to one woman's generosity. Earlier this week the deparment received a digital thermal imaging camera. The camera that helps firefighters locate fire victims through smoke is something that the department has wanted for a long time. Ruth Dye of Westerville, who donated the camera, says that it was the least that she could do after the September 11th attacks. The camera has already been put into use, it was used in a fire that happend this past Monday on Luck Avenue.
