Zanesville is going to have its own connection to Olympic hero Lea Ann Parsley. The Olympic silver medalist in the skeleton race will take part in the Carr Center Cake Auction next month. Parsley will light the first candle as the cake auction tries to set a new world record by lighting 3333 candles. Parsley will do the honor on Friday April 12th at the Colony Square Mall. This will be the 16th year for the national record-setting auction which raises money for services for children and adults in Muskingum County.
