A group of Muskingum College students took to the streets to help bring attention to a growing problem in the United States. Starting Saturday: “the Muskies against poverty,” are living in cardboard boxes for 24 hours to raise money and awareness of the homeless. Without the benefit of shelter and the cold temperatures, these students have gained an insight on what it is like to be homeless. The students will live in the Steak And Shake parking lot until 7am Sunday morning. They would like tot hank, Denny’s and U-Haul for supporting their efforts.
