In a special meeting earlier today: the Zanesville Board of Education has made a decision that will benefit the area’s kindergarten school aged children. The President of the Zanesville Board of the Zanesville City School District called a special meeting in order to amend entrance requirements for children just starting school. The change in the entrance requirement will allow the younger students a chance to delay their attendance for a year. This delay could prove to be beneficial for those who need to become a little more mature. The amendment will take effect this upcoming school year.
