Easter is a holiday when most people think of the Easter bunny, decorating eggs and filling their baskets with chocolate made treats. But to the religious community in our area and around the world, it's the Sunday set aside to recognize the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Although the celebration of Christ's resurrection may differ from church to church and religion the message remains the same. Easter signals the end of the Lenten season and the beginning of Pentecost. Pentecost, the season referred to as the coming of the Lord, last until Advent the celebration of Christ's birth.
