Investigations are continuing into the cause of a Tuesday after noon house fire that left a family of seven without a place to call home. Zanesville fire investigator Kevin Thomas went back out this morning to dig through the remains of a charred and scorched two-story structure. Right now efforts are aimed at pinning down the location of the house where the blaze began, they are digging through debris trying to find out where it started and why. The Frame family house at 1078 Greenwood Avenue is one of the original homes on the east end of the city, so due to the type of construction and age of the house flames can spread quickly. No contents within the home were salvageable but fortunately all of the family’s pets escaped without injury. The family is being put up by the local Red Cross and Stacey Frame the lady of the home is recovering at Good Sam with smoke inhalation. The rest of the family is fine.
