It was a sobering reminder of the dangers of drinking and driving. That's one way to describe a mock crash that was held at West Muskingum high school Tuesday. The "accident" showed students the serious consequences of drinking and driving. The students saw a crash, and the victims inside a vehicle. They watched as the 9-1-1 call was made, and as the emergency vehicles responded. One victim was dead on arrival, another was paralyzed and others were put on stretchers and taken to the hospital. The mock crash was put on by the Zanesville and Falls township fire departments, the state highway patrol, the sheriff's office, the coroner, and Med-flight.
