A young woman was lifeflighted to Riverside hospital in Columbus after her car overturned several times Thursday night. The accident happened around 9:45 on state route 285 near Old Washington and Winterset. According to the State Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Tanya Clay of Quaker City
was driving south on 285 when she drove off the right side of the road, then tried to overcorrect the problem causing the vehicle to overturn several times and landing on it's top. Before being lifeflighted, Clay was first taken to the Southeastern Ohio Medical Center in Cambridge for her injuries. The crash remains under investigation.
