It looks like there's a major change taking place at Z-Bus in Zanesville. After 15 years, the company that manages the local bus service, First Transit, is out and a new management company, Professional Transit Management of Cincinnati is in. Also out is Z-Bus general manager Michele Clark. She resigned on Friday. But she may resurface as the general manager of Z-Bus for the new management company. Z-Bus board of director president Larry Ledford confirmed that Clark resigned as G-M saying she did not give a reason. Ledford says while nothing is official yet, the board has made an offer to the new management firm and is awaiting a response. Ledford says both management companies made proposals and it was a hard decision. As for former G-M Michele Clark's status with the new company, Ledford declined to comment. The board does have some say in who the new management company hires. Ledford says this change will not affect bus services or the new transportation facility being built in downtown Zanesville.
