In less than a week, citizens of the Rolling Hills School District must decide whether or not to renew a 5-year, emergency operating levy. On thursday night, students, parents and educators gathered for one last rally in an attempt to drum up support.
Superintendent, Gary Norris says the levy is not imposing a new tax, rather it's just renewing a tax that's already in place.
School officials say 15 percent of the levy funding comes from individual property taxes, 22 percent comes from businesses and 63 percent comes from state money.
