A saturday car crash kills one young woman and puts her passenger in intensive care.Twenty-four year-old Valerie Stevenson of Perry County was killed early saturday morning after she entered an intersection where the traffic lights were not working and collided with a pick-up truck. Her passenger 22 year-old Thomas Bayer of Heath is in the intensive care unit at Grant Memorial Center in Columbus. The managers of the Red Lobster in Heath where both Stevenson and Bayer worked expressed his sympathy about the tragedy. According to authorities: 40 year-old Jay Conn of Nashport who was driving the Dodge pick-up and wearing his safety belt was taken to Licking Memorial, but was not admitted.
