Zanesville City Council met in regular session Monday night and passed two important issues. The first issue, Port-a-potties. The city will use them for special events. The Port-o-Let facility will have running water, sanitary features and it will be able to handle 140 women and 350 men per hour. Another issue that was addressed at the meeting...the state route 146-60 connector road. It was also passed by council. The road will be designed as a five-lane highway and will help development on the north end of town. Council also says it wants a proactive approach to code enforcement. That should surface within the next 24 months.
