Wednesday afternoon all those who donated food, money and time were thanked at the Operation Feed Wrap Up Luncheon. The community deserves much of the thanks. Over 50 people were honored for their contributions to the Operation Feed Campaign. This year, Operation Feed surpassed its goal of 70 tons of food. And because the campaign is collecting more and more food each year, the amount will go a long way in combatting hunger in the Muskinghum County area. Approximately 20 food banks and 3 hot meal programs will benefit from Operation Feed; it should be enough to supply them with 6 to 9 months worth of food. This is the 15th year for Operation Feed.
