With much debate in the Roman Catholic Church on child molestation charges. A panel of Roman Catholic Bishops recently met and issued a zero-tolerance policy against priests who molest children in the future. They also set a two strikes-your-out policy for those guilty of past abuse in the church. The church's panel has recommended several factors on how to respond to the clerical sex abuse crisis. That includes setting up a panel within the diocese to conduct background checks, a policy in writing and etc. The proposal will be put to vote when bishops from around the country meet on June 13th through the 15th in Dallas.
