Woman Injured After Vehicle Tips Over

One woman suffered minor injuries, after the vehicle in which she was riding tipped over during a crash Friday afternoon on Maple Ave. 53-year old James Sturgeon of Somerset was traveling south on Maple in his Ford Ranger when he attempted to make a left-hand-turn into the Staples parking lot. Zanesville police say upon making the turn, Sturgeon hit an Expedition driven by 36-year-old Lori Lones of Zanesville. During impact, Sturgeon's Ranger rolled onto its' side and came to a stop when it hit a Taurus in the Staples lot. The Taurus was driven by 69-year-old Evelyn Miller of Zanesville. Passenger, Sue Ann Sturgeon was the only one with injuries. James Sturgeon was cited for failing to yield while turning left.
