The agonizing wait for the recovery of a loved one is now over for one local family. For the past three days, emergency teams that included specially trained dogs, searched the Tuscarawas River in hopes of recovering Coshocton resident James Eric McHenry. McHenry had been pulled under by a strong current after accidentally stepping off the river's bank on Sunday. Today, with the help of a dog team from Athens, divers were able to recover his body, approximately 1 and a half miles down river. Although the family is deeply saddened by the drowning incident, they are grateful for the men, women, and man's best friend for recovering the body of the 25-year old. McHenry's body is at Coshocton Memorial Hospital where an autopsy will be performed. James who is a Zanesville native, will be laid to rest sometime later this week.
