Some bad news for the John Mcintire Library in Zanesville. Due to lower income tax revenue from the state, the Legislature has decided to divert money from the library system and local government support fund. Library public relations manager Blair Tom says they will lose 250-thousand dollars in funding. Tom says some of the cuts were anticipated, but not as severe as occured. Tom says a a result some projects have been eliminted or delayed and no new staff will be added. Tom also says that the lirbary will not have Sunday hours the rest of this year.
