An important part of United States history has been ruled unconstitutional. A Federal Appeals Court in California ruled that the Pledge of Allegiance is unconstitutional because of the words "Under God." Today, mall goers at the Colony Square Mall had a few words to say about the decision, some were good, while some were bad. Rose Ann Lee said, "I think it's really stupid. I think they should keep it the way it is because, it's always been that way and it should stay that way." Nellie Haley said, "I'm a christian and I do believe that people need to wake up because men don't run this country, god does." Damon Okey said, "I'm not very patriotic, so I'm not a big fan of the Pledge of Allegiance, but I don't think we should make our kids say that anyways."
