A Coshocton county man has been indicted on an arson charge involving a Heath police officer's truck. Robert Boyes, of Warsaw, has been charged in connection with the fires. He was also charged this past Friday with receiving stolen property, fraud, making false statements to investigators and possesing an illegal firearm. Officer David Kendall reported his truck stolen last July, the truck was found the next day stripped and burned. Investigators say 78-year old Boyes had seats from the officer's truck in a truck he was driving. Boyes was arrested June 17th about five hours after a police informant was left to die in the side of a rural road in Licking County. The informant was summoned to testify on a separate arson case involving Boyes' son. Boyes was indicted previously for tampering with evidence incolving a car he was seen abandoning that police said had human blood in it.
