A road resurfacing plan for state route 37 is set to begin on Monday July 8th. The project will affect roadway travel in both Perry and Fairfield counties. According to the Ohio Department of Transportation the project will consist of two-lane resurfacing projects with pavement repairs from New Lexington to Bremen. Drainage work is scheduled to take place near Junction City. Traffic will be maintained with flaggers. In addition to the resurfacing and drainage work, 10-foot shoulders will be constructed on the north side of state route 37, just west of Junction City in order to help pedestrian traffic. Weather permitting, all work will be finished by October 15th.
