A Newark woman is facing road rage charges in Muskingum county court. Prosecutor Mike Haddox says 46-year-old Karin Collins pleaded guilty to one count of felony assault and one count of aggravated menacing. The charges stem from a driving incident on April 17th of this year. Haddox says Amy Longshore was driving home on state route 16 and state route 146, when she passed Collins. Collins was apparently driving very slowly with no headlights on. Haddox says that's when Collins proceeded to rear-end Longshore's vehicle. The incident ended when Longshore turned into the Dillon Duke and Duchess station and Collins rammed the front end of her car. Authorities found Collins to be intoxicated. A pre-sentence investigation has been ordered in the case.
