Cambridge police are investigating a bank robbery. It happened on Monday. The Wesbanco bank on Wheeling avenue was robbed. Using witness reports and pictures from the bank's camera, police describe the suspect as a white male in his late 20s. He is five-feet-eight inches to five-feet-ten inches tall, with a stocky build and weighing about 200 to 225 pounds. He has short dark hair, dark eyes and a thin mustache or goatee. The suspect was wearing a blue, loose fitting t-shirt, dark pants and a white ball cap. Police say he entered the bank handed a note to the teller and demanded money. The note also said he had a gun, but witnesses did not see a weapon. He then fled the bank with an undetermined amount of cash. If you have any information about the event, contact the Cambridge police department at 740 439-4431.
