Some Zanesville area kids are learning some important lessons this week...lessons that could save their lives. Y-City Safety Town is in session. In its 12th year, the program has managed to educate numerous area youngsters about safety. The Muskingum county sheriff's department runs the school in connection with the Alfred S. Carr center in Zanesville. Children between the ages of four and five learn everything from how to cross the street to fire safety. For more information about the next session of the program you can call 740-453-5417.
