Drug Case In Muskingum County Court

An informant working with the Muskingum county drug unit help land a local man in court. 23-year-old Jeremy Israel of Zanesville pleaded guilty to two counts of trafficking in Marijuana. Muskingum county prosecutor Mike Haddox says one time Israel sold 48.2 grams of pot to the informant for 180 dollars and another time he sold 54.4 grams for the same amount. The trafficking charges could carry a 24 month sentence. Israel also pleaded guilty to one count of vandalism for kicking out the window of a police cruiser. He could face another 12 months on that charge.
