Today, Jennifer Hoffman from the Zanesville-Muskingum County Department announced that the West Nile Virus has spread from birds to mosquitoes. Only June 25th in Wayne Township a trap detected the virus. And on July 3rd, the virus was detected in Falls Township. So far, Ohio hasn't had any reports of humans infected, but Louisiana has called for a state health emergency, because 58 people were diagnosed with the West Nile Virus and four of those died.
