The Longaberger family has made another investment in Licking county. Rachel Longaberger, president of the Longaberger Foundation, has purchased the Hartford Farm and Horse Barn. She bought the property from Anton Pohlmann, who owns Buckeye Egg farm. Longaberger says that "after searcing in various locations, it's great to have found the perfect place to pursue two life dreams...helping kids in need through a not-for-profit therapeutic riding program and breeding world class horses for competition." The state of the art facility has grandstand seating for over 350 fans, private viewing lounges and boarding space for 70 horses. The property also includes a mansion, but Longaberger lives in New Albany and has no plans to move. No word yet on how much Rachel Longaberger paid for the facility.
