As the school year approaches, Ohio University-Zanesville is experiencing some difficulties with their enrollment. There is a 20% increase in fall applications from last year, which makes this year the fourth fall that there is a double digit rise. According to James Foneseca, a dean at Ohio University-Zanesville, as more parents and students from local high schools get to know the good things OUZ has to offer, they start to come to the branch. Since the college's increase in fall enrollment, OUZ has decided to postpone its annual reqruitment of students at the Colony Square Mall until next spring.
