The Zanesville Police Department is looking for a male suspect who robbed an elderly woman in the parking lot of Wal-Mart on Maple Avenue. Just after 8 this evening, the police received a call that a male had entered the car of an elderly woman who was waiting for a family member that went into the store. The suspect drove off with the woman in the car and demanded money. When the woman gave him some money, he then drove back to the parking lot, jumped out of the car and fled on foot. The elderly woman was unharmed. The suspect is described as a white male in his twenties, with a thin build and blonde hair. The Zanesville Police Department is cautioning people to be alert when they are in the parking lots of shopping centers.
