A part of history will return to Zanesville this week. The B-17 Flying Fortress will land at Zanesville municipal airport this Friday. The aircraft flew daylight bombing raids over Europe in World War II. The flying fortress lived up to its name by being able to sustain considerable damage and still bring its crew home. The B-17 won't be the only aircraft on display, you will also get to see Germany's primary bomber..the HE-111. The planes arrive Friday around 12 noon and will stay on display until Monday September 2nd. If you would like a ride, it will cost 400 dollars per person.
