Early Monday afternoon the Muskingum County Sheriff's Department investigated a possible bomb threat at the power plant project in Dresden. Muskingum County Sheriff Bob Stephenson says his officers were on the scene and used bomb sniffing dogs to help check the site and found nothing. The Sheriff said the construction workers were sent home as a precaution. The plant is just off McGlade School Road one mile south of Dresden. There are 500 workers helping build the $315 million dollar power plant project. The Sheriff says the incident remains under investigation.
