Bioterrorism Grant

Ever since anthrax scares, bioterrorism concerns have surfaced even in smaller communities throughout Southeastern Ohio. the Zanesville-Muskingum County Health Department announced today it received a bioterrorism grant for more than two-hundred thousand dollars. The grant will cover eleven counties in Ohio. Robert Titko, the Muskiingum County Health Commissioner says with the grant an Epidemiologist will be hired as well as people to coordinate plans of what to do of someone poisons the water supply or for other related hazards.
