A Perry county family is homeless after a fire ripped through their home. It happened at 8616 Old Town road in New Straitsville. The home of Nancy Walker and David West was destroyed in the blaze. A third person, Dorinda Skinner, was also living at the home. The Muskingum Valley Red Cross is assisting the victims with food and clothing. The three will be staying with friends. This is the 20th family in a fire since July first of this year in Muskingum, Perry and Morgan counties. No word on what caused the fire. No injuries were reported.
