In a year where going up into an airplane can cause much concern, the Experimental Aircraft Association Chapter 425 taught children ages 8 to 17 how to fly a single engine aircraft. Pilots say since last September's terrorist attacks, they want children to know it is safer to fly in an airplane than drive a car. More than 1-hundred area children took part in today's activities. They even got to fly in a small aircraft.
