The Zanesville-Muskingum County Chamber of Commerce is making plans to market our area in other regions of the country. Starting with the city of Columbus, the Chamber is working with Morgan and Perry counties to let businesses know about the expansion opportunities in Southeastern Ohio. The marketing campaign, which started almost two weeks ago, is using Columbus radio, magazine advertisements and billboard displays at the Port Columbus Airport. Along with funding from the Governor's Office of Appalachia, the $70,000 campaign is being partially funded by each county. The increased marketing is ont only in Ohio. The Chamber is also working on a national campaign in the America West In-Flight Magazine, coming out in November.
