Leaves are turning and nights are getting cooler. Before everyone heads into winter hibernation, downtown Zanesville merchants wanted to draw people back into the hub of the city, at the Twosdays Downtown Dining Group Fall Fest. Area merchants wanted to remind Muskingum Valley residents that there is life on the suoth side of Interstate 70 and that life is celebrated on the second Tuesday of every month. Next Tuesday, October 8, three restaurants will take part in a fall festival in an effort to draw visitors to downtown Zanesville. A mini farmer's market, arts, crafts, activities like pumpking painting and specialized menus will be available from 5 p.m. throughout the duration of the night at Bryan's Place, Zak's and Olde Market House Inn. Local high school students will be present to provide entertainment and to represent communities.
