Where's the beef? Well, some of it packaged in Perry County is being recalled. New Lexington based Siemer Distributing Company is voluntarily recalling a 40-pound box of beef that may be contaminated with e-coli. The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the beef was produced on September 30th and sent to a restaurant in Caldwell, Ohio. The USDA's Food and Safety Inspection Service says it has had no complaints of anyone getting sick from the beef. Consumers with questions should call plant supervisor David Siemer at 740-342-3230.
