High school sophomores from eight school districts visited the Muskingum County Sophomore Career Expo at Hallowed Hills this morning, to further their knowlege of the working world. Expo organizers say the purpose of the sixth annual expo is to highlight career opportunities in surrounding areas. Muskingum Valley Educational Service Center Special Service Coordinator Lynn Dunn says it is important for tenth grade students to think about career paths because they begin scheduling vital coursework in eleventh and twelfth grades. Most students visited booths housing businesses the students were interested in. Some students visited booths to learn more about careers they were not familiar with. There were 118 businesses present at the expo.
